Who we are

Hooves of Promise was established in 2016 to save three starving horses: Scarlet, Rosie and Ruby. Danyea “bought” them for three tons of hay to bring them to a safe haven and save their lives.

Since then we have developed an extensive network within the national horse community to rescue and rehome over 600 horses from feedlots, kill pens, and herd seizures. In our local community we have placed about 300 horses since opening our doors.

Danyea Logan-Young is our founder and leader.
